Sketch With Us on November 6

 Since our last joint events with the Nature Journalers was a success, we are coordinating with them again. We will draw from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Nov. 6, at Olbrich Gardens. We will throw down at noon and 1 p.m. to accommodate the different time-lines of each group.

Our next event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3. I would love to hear ideas on locations.

Sept. 11 Sketch Event Cancelled

 Due to rain, this morning's sketch event is cancelled. Let's try it again next Sunday, Sept. 18!

Next Urban Sketching Event is Sept. 11

 Urban Sketchers Madison had a fantastic time drawing at Brittingham Boats on Saturday. Beautiful weather ad a beautiful place. We were happy to welcome two new sketchers.

Join us at our next event at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, at Hilldale Mall. We'll meet outside Crescendo and Forage.

Novice and experienced sketchers are invited to draw with our welcoming group. Just show up with a sketchpad and pencil and enjoy a new way to appreciate Madison.

Great Sketching on Monroe Street

 We had a second great sketching event this past weekend with lots of new friends and new talents.

Great Sketching at Garver Feed Mill

 Seven sketchers had a great time at the Garver Feed Mill this afternoon.

It was great to see old friends and welcome new ones.

We hope to see some of you at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Crescendo Cafe on Monroe Street.

Double-hitter this weekend.

 Because we postponed last weekend's sketch, we have two events this weekend:

-Saturday, 1 p.m., at the Garver Feed Mill

-Sunday, 1 p.m., Crescendo Coffee Shop on Monroe Street.

I am unavailable the rest of April, but that doesn't mean someone else can't schedule a sketching event. If you have a place and time, let me know. The only requirement is that you attend. We want to make sure each event has a "host".

Next Sketching Date: April 9

 Due to a number of cancellations for today's scheduled event and the fact that it is still snowing here on the West Side, we will meet next Saturday, April 9, at 1 p.m. at Garver Feed Mill.

Those of you who can safely get to Garver today can certainly choose to enjoy sketching!
